Terms of Service

Effective July 19, 2026

1. The service

Ummi provides an approval and audit layer for autonomous agent actions. The service consists of a web-based control plane (authentication, organizations, entitlements, and billing) and an isolated local-edge deployment (Ummi Core) that gates agent actions behind human approval. Ummi is an early-stage product and is provided as-is, without any warranty of fitness for a particular purpose.

2. Accounts and authentication

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and the email address associated with your passwordless sign-in. You may not share your account with others or use another person's account without permission. You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.

3. Developer plan

The Developer plan is a paid subscription at $29 per month. It includes up to 10 seats, up to 20 agent connections, 10,000 actions per month, 1-year audit history, and SMS plus email approval channels.

Payment is processed through Stripe. By starting a Developer subscription, you authorize us to charge your payment method for recurring monthly payments until you cancel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access until that date. Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis.

4. Free tier

Authenticated users may create one free workspace with a limit of 100 actions per month and a 7-day audit history. The free tier does not include a hosted tunnel or SMS approval. Free tier allowances are server-controlled and may change with notice.

5. Acceptable use

You agree not to use Ummi to:

  • Violate applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe on the intellectual property or privacy rights of others
  • Transmit malware, spam, or fraudulent content
  • Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure
  • Attempt to bypass the approval gating mechanism or tamper with audit records

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.

6. Intellectual property

Ummi and its associated software, documentation, trademarks, and design are owned by the Ummi project. You retain ownership of your data, agent configurations, and approval policies. By using the service, you grant us a limited license to use your account information (email, organization name) solely to provide the service to you.

7. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Ummi is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service, including but not limited to loss of data, business interruption, or unauthorized access to your systems.

Our total liability for any claim related to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

8. Termination

You may cancel your account at any time through the dashboard. We may terminate or suspend your account for violation of these terms, with notice where reasonably possible. Upon termination, your access to the service ends and your control-plane data is deleted within 30 days.

9. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. For material changes, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before the change takes effect. Your continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
